Award

  • Total quality management (TQM) is enforced companywide as accredited by the National Quality Award in 1997.

    Since its establishment, Yamaha has been at the forefront of innovation and change with the implementation of TQM to fully improve its quality and ensure customer's satisfaction.
  • ISO14001 Certification

    In October of 1998, we were accredited the ISO 14001 certification, a requirement for exporting products to the European market share.
  • ISO9000 Certification

    Yamaha Motor Taiwan was the first company awarded ISO 9000 certification among other Taiwan's motorcycle industry.

    We were bestowed a PM Excellence Award that we applied to Japan's JIPM Association. In order to promote equipment management modernization and equipment management skill development, we reengineered and strengthened our work processes to further receive the TPM Excellence Award, the TPM Enterprise Award (category 1) and the TPM Excellence Continuation Award (category 1).
